| SHOT DOCTOR’S TIP OF THE WEEK |
|
One of the greatest causes of missed putts is a fast takeaway with your putter. When you quickly snatch the putter back, it starts offline and stays that way. With a smooth, slow takeaway, the putter has what it takes to stroke the putt squarely. Before you address your next putt, place a dime on top of your putter. The object is to stroke your putt with that dime staying on top of your putter through contact. If you quickly take your putter back, that dime will fall off. I want to see you hit 50 putts in a row without that dime falling off. As always, perfecting this tip will lead to the greatest sound in golf…………ploppage!!!!……….just like that!!!!!……AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!…………
