1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 pepper and garlic salt
Dash of ground red pepper
6 slices cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. canned, chopped green chilies
6 hamburger rolls, lightly toasted
Jar of salsa

Mix all ingredients except the cheese and
chilies.

Shape mixture into 12 thin patties, about 3 1/2
inches in diameter. Place one cheese slice and one teaspoon of chilies on each
of 6 patties. Top with remaining patties, sealing edges firmly. Grill patties
about 4 inches from heat, turning once to desired doneness, 7-8 minutes on
each side for medium. Makes 6 burgers. May top with salsa!
