When you have a bump and run from just off the
green, look at the club you use. I will bet that most of you use a wedge.
Instead, use a 6-iron. To play this shot, choke down on your 6-iron so both
hands are touching the shaft just below the grip. Play the ball back in your
stance and use a putting stroke. This gets the ball rolling right away and gives
it top spin. All of a sudden, your bump and runs will not only reach the hole
but a few will go in the hole. Remember:- use a 6-iron!
